>Richard “Ned” Blain Eshleman, 58, of Fontana passed away Saturday, Jan. 7.
Ned was born in Fontana and graduated from Fontana High School in 1971, where she was active in 4H. He worked at the family meat packing company. Then he was an owner/operator truck driver and heavy equipment mechanic. He loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening his roses. He also liked NASCAR racing.
Ned is survived by his wife Tina; daughters Kimberly and Kayla; son Scott; granddaughter Chloe; brother and sister-in-law David and Pamela Eshleman of Fontana; sister and brother-in-law Dona and David Rothrock of Gooding, Idaho; sister Sarah Albertson of Penngrove; brother and sister-in-law William “Billy” and Anita Eshleman of Oak Hills; brother Albert Eshleman of Yucaipa; brother and sister-in-law James and Suzanne Eshleman of Yucaipa; and many nieces and nephews.
Ned was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Dorothy, and his son, Kris.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. at the Bridge Church, 9904 Bloomington Avenue in Bloomington.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made to the “Research for Life Foundation,” 119 South Weber Drive, Chandler, Arizona, 85226.
